The Stables Holiday Cottage No.9 is part of a terrace of converted stables belonging to Woodstown House close to Dunmore East in County Waterford. Famously, the widowed Jackie Kennedy and her children Caroline and John Jnr. retreated in the summer of 1967 to the house.

The Stables Holiday Cottage No.9 is approached by a long tree-lined avenue with well-maintained communal gardens. Woodstown Strand, an unspoilt beach surrounded by private woodland is 1km from this holiday home in Waterford. This coastal holiday home is an easy 10-minute drive from Dunmore East, Passage East and a 20 minute drive from Waterford City.

This tranquil 2 bed holiday cottage comprises of a cosy open plan kitchen and living room area. The kitchen has been newly refurbished and the living area has an open fire, flat screen television and comfortable sofas. This coastal holiday cottage has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 guests comfortably:

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.

2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

3. Towels:
Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details at the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).
